"Nigerian Importer Wants To Buy Inkjet Cartridges"

Have you ever received an email from a company in Nigeria wanting to buy HP inkjet cartridges and supplies? They want to buy 100 to 10,000 pieces of inkjet and toner cartridges by credit credit or company cheques; and they don't mind if you use Federal Express or any other well known express air courier? They don't even mind if you charge them 20% to 35% more than if they buy the cartridges at their nearest supermarket down the street.

"Use Stolen Credit Cards To Make Purchase"

These scamming losers had all been well documented in the FBI files for credit card fraud. What they do is find suppliers anywhere (mostly in Asian countries where the law is very lax) and said they want to buy inkjet or toner cartridges in high volume. They said they are representing a client in their countries, and had been approved by their clients to use the clients' credit card to make purchases on their behalf as agents (that's obviously illegal).

In our experience, the scamming loser had made a fake passport and identification to match the information that is on the stolen credit cards. They even made a fake credit card statement to show that the card is legitimate under their name. Luckily, we called the issuing credit card company before actually delivering the order they had made. But damages have been done in terms of time wasted and money spent on unnecessary international long distance charges. In addition, we had bad terms with our supplier because we had to cancel this order, that ended up with them over-stocking inkjet cartridges!

"A US$20,000 Cheque In Our Mail"

Several scamming losers had sent to us cheques in different amount totaling up to US$20,000 for a pre-paid / pre-purchase of inkjet cartridges and toner cartridges. They said they sent us the cheque so that we can process their order immediately even though they don't know how much we charge for the inkjet cartridges and toner cartridges!

Obviously, the cheques were all fake that they had printed from a color laserjet printer or inkjet printer with aweful results. They have our company name type incorrectly, the bank address was mispelled, routing number doesn't exist with the bank, and quality of the paper use to print the cheque was terrible. They claimed that the cheques have been issued from a well known USA banks or European banks.

To make them look legitimate, these scamming losers sometimes gives you a call to verify whether you have received their cheques for payment in advance. They then tell you to send the inkjet cartridges and toner cartridges they order immediately. If you refused, they even start threatening you saying that they will report you to your countries local police for not delivering the goods after receiving their full payment in advance.

One scamming loser we encountered had even gone so far as to contact a local supplier in our country to try to help him get his order through. He made contacts radomly with any companies in our local city, to ask for help recouping his money from the cheque he sent or to have his order deliver.

"All Scamming Losers Have One Thing In Common: Free Webbased Email Addresses"

What we noticed from all these Nigerian Scamming Losers are that they always use a free web based email and they don't have a website. Many of them also have companies with PO. Box as their address and phone number that are most of the time cannot be reach.
